Robert (Mike) Bayer is the mathematics consultant for the Stark County Educational Service Center and Principal Investigator for the Stark County Math and Science Partnership grant in Canton, Ohio. *** Graduate of Kent State University with a BA degree in Mathematics and Masters degree in Secondary School Administration from Akron University
*** Coordinates the Mathematics Teacher Leadership Program and the mathematics reform effort in Stark County
*** Coordinates the county Mathematics Tournament
*** Australian Teaching Fellow (1990) to Melbourne, Australia
*** Coordinated the Science and Math on the Move (SAMM) project for Stark county which provides technology equipment to math and science teachers throughout the county
*** Developed and hosted the live student help television program, Math Help Live
*** Active in NCTM, OCTM (Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics) and GCCTM (Greater Canton Council of Teachers of Mathematics)
